Ready to paint. They do have the holes in the sheet metal for the original hinges. But the spine plate is not drilled and tapped in case you prefer to use a piano hinge. We are the only manufacturer that supplies lids with the spine plate. And we are the only ones to use closed cell insulation instead of wood.
